Marin County Breakdown is an acoustic string band drawing from traditional bluegrass and old-time, plus some country, blues, rock, and jazz to create a contemporary California bluegrass sound.  We’re a family band who love creating music together, Gary Millar (dad) on banjo, Julie Steier (mom) on mandolin, Sarah Jo Millar (daughter) on bass and banjo, Cory McClintic (nephew) on guitar, and Daniel Coles on guitar.
